Hilarie Rockl is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Professional Business Solutions (PBS),
Born and raised in British Columbia, and living for a time in England and the United States, she now lives with her husband in Vancouver, B.C. She has one daughter and a young grandson.
As young entrepreneurs, she and her husband Ray started up and ran an industrial electrical company, which is still going strong 35 years later. Experiencing the usual growing pains with this new company, Hilarie became aware of the Hubbard Management System and saw the potential to grow her own and others’ businesses with this system. She took several months off – studied the system in detail – and achieved the highest possible certification in the application of this technology – the equivalent of today’s MBA.
After successfully expanding their electrical company, Hilarie found the time to start up a non-profit organization, which she went on to expand, supervising several groups across Canada. During this time, she worked with and helped hundreds of people with their personal and business finances, turning this field into her specialty.
Due to the demand for this service, Hilarie formed her own company to assist overworked small business owners by taking over their administrative and financial systems, thus freeing them up to sell and deliver their service.
However, Hilarie saw that in order to create any kind of stable expansion, business owners needed to be trained on the technology so they themselves could take over the reins of correctly organizing and expanding their own businesses. She then met Dr. Joel Parker who was working with consultant group using the Hubbard Management System in the United States. They joined forces to set up such a group in Vancouver, and Professional Business Solutions was formed in late 2004. It has since quadrupled in size and in order to better service its clients, has moved into large, beautiful offices overlooking Vancouver.
Hilarie is a licensed consultant and trainer and is doing what she loves most – helping people to grow their businesses, so they can create the time and money to be able to pursue their life-long dreams.
Hilarie is also a member of the Joint Venture Forum, the Business Expansion Club, and also finds time to chair community betterment projects for her church, and sit on the Advisory Boards of a human rights group, and a private school.
