The goal of PBS is to bring a high level of functional training and advice to the veterinary private practice community - those practices run by veterinarians that are very well technically trained in their areas of medicine and surgery but lack a comparable professional level of management skills to successfully manage their practices. This lack of management skill is the No.1 factor in the high-rate of practice and owner stress and burnout. But consider for a moment the inequity in training time veterinarians train for medicine and surgery vs. the time training for managing a practice. Looking at it like this, how could many practice owners not have problems? Using specific diagnostic tools, advanced workshops, executive courses, training materials, apprenticeships, and online tools, we gradiently guide practice owners through an efficient transition from a simple, diagnose and delivery practice model to system driven, statistic monitored 7-division practice that puts the practice owner in control. With this comes the ability to monitor subjective and objective data, accurately diagnose, and change as needed the direction of any one of the 7 divisions. It is designed around how we intrinsically deal with patient problems – the SOAP method. This approach decreases stress and creates time and money. With consulting and implementation programs tailored to your practice we closely monitor your success and make sure you are heading in the right direction. And in the end, we’ve trained you to be a consultant to your own practice.
